Feb. 25 recap: Morristown-Beard wins 6th straight, Delbarton falls in Gordon Cup

MORRISTOWN-BEARD 4, MORRIS KNOLLS-HILLS 1

Hollis Humphries had a goal and two assists to lead Morristown-Beard to a 4-1 win over Morris Knolls-Hills at Mennen Arena.

Andrew Low and Dylan Strauss each recorded a goal and an assist for Morristown-Beard (7-1-1), which picked up its sixth win in a row and improved to 5-0-0 in the Mennen Division. Seth Kaplan also scored, while Jake Ochab dished out two assists. Luke McManus made 20 saves in the win.

Jason Kwestel scored the lone goal for Morris Knolls-Hills (4-5-1).

GORDON CUP: DON BOSCO 4, DELBARTON 1

Four different players scored for third-seed Don Bosco Prep in a 4-1 win over sixth-seed Delbarton in the quarterfinals of the Gordon Cup at the Ice Vault in Wayne.

Nick Faccone put Delbarton (3-5-1) up early in the first period, but Don Bosco's Michael Pappachristou tied it up just seconds later. Marian Mosko put the Ironmen ahead late in the second period.

Jason Cai made 30 saves for Delbarton in the loss.
