Feb. 20 recap: Schauder lifts Park Regional, Mountain Lakes tops Vernon

MOUNTAIN LAKES-BOONTON 8, VERNON 3
Tyler Shaloub had a hat trick and an assist as Mountain Lakes-Boonton remained unbeaten in the Haas Division with an 8-3 win over Vernon at Skylands Ice World.
Cameron Egan tallied two goals and two assists for Mountain Lakes-Boonton (9-2), which improved to 9-0 in the Haas Division. It can finish off a perfect divisional regular season when it faces Park Regional on Monday.
Caz Kotsen and Aiden Reidy each had a goal and an assist for Mountain Lakes-Boonton. Cullen Fagan had 22 saves in the win.
Evan Steinbach scored twice and T.J. Quimby also scored for Vernon (5-3-2).
PARK REGIONAL 1, GILL ST. BERNARD'S 0
A.J. Schauder's 36-save performance keyed Park Regional to a 1-0 win over Gill St. Bernard's at Mennen Arena.
Ed Karpinski put Park Regional (3-6-2) on the board in the first period, and it proved to be all the scoring it would need. Despite a 36-12 shot disadvantage, Schauder was able to keep Gill St. Bernard's (3-4-2) off the board.
Alex Steinberg made 11 saves for Gill St. Bernard's.
MORRIS CATHOLIC 3, NEWTON-LENAPE VALLEY 1
Hugh McGuigan scored twice for Morris Catholic in a 3-1 win over Newton-Lenape Valley at Skylands Ice World.
Ryan Lynch put Newton-Lenape Valley (2-7) ahead early in the first, but McGuigan tied it in the final minute before putting his team ahead 40 seconds into the second period. Evan Lord capped off the win with a third period goal. Mark Daniel made 19 saves for Morris Catholic (5-2).
MOUNT OLIVE-HOPATCONG-HACKETTSTOWN 2, WEST MORRIS 0
Thomas Cioce had a goal and an assist to lead Mount Olive-Hopatcong-Hackettstown to a 2-0 win over West Morris at Mennen Arena.
Christian Hertzig also scored for Mount Olive-Hopatcong-Hackettstown (5-3-1).
HIGH POINT-WALLKILL VALLEY 8, PARSIPPANY REGIONAL 0
Devin Haines tallied two goals and two assists to lift High Point-Wallkill Valley to an 8-0 win over Parsippany Regional at Skylands Ice World.
Jake Henningsen scored twice, while Antonio Ciasullo, Maddy Hennion, and Brandon Mudrick each recorded a goal and two assists for High Point-Wallkill Valley (4-4-1). Luca Carnemolla also scored, while T.J. Ward made 13 saves to earn the shutout.
